Cascade has eliminated the CLH2. The CPV has been revamped and will replace the CLH2.

Position Description: The Sun Prairie Lacrosse Club is currently seeking a Boys Varsity Head Coach starting with the 2011-2012 season. The Boys Varsity program has been a top ranked program within the state since its inception in 2001. We are looking for the ideal coach to add the finishing touches to our already successful program and take us to the next level. Sun Prairie Lacrosse has an excellent youth feeder program and promises long term success. We are in need of an experienced and principled coach to build upon the success of our youth programs. This is a coaching-only position.

The ideal candidate will:

·         have lacrosse experience playing and/or coaching at the college level.

·         possess strong player development, communication, organizational skills as well as a positive attitude and enthusiasm for the sport and team.

·         be able to effectively motivate and develop both the novice and experienced player.

·         need to be able to attract new athletes to the sport and be available for practices scheduled after school hours from February to beginning of June.

·         support an off-season program and camps to develop players and promote the sport within the school.

·         be active in and support the youth feeder program and develop a coach “mentoring” program through the youth levels.

·         attend all required athletic department and association meetings and events.

·         work with the HS Boys Team Rep (Manager) on scheduling, uniforms and effective communication with players and parents. 

Salary: Competitive/Stipend.

Hello High School level Lacrosse Players,

We have 2 great opportunities or lacrosse this fall on Sundays to not conflict with other sports.

True Lacrosse in Sun Prairie & Infinity @ Keva in Middleton are both forming teams for “FallBall”.

The Board of Directors and Coaching Staff in Sun Prairie STRONGLY urge all high school players to join a fall team and keep improving your skills.

Below are details on both leagues.

We feel this is a great opportunity to get our players more exposure to lacrosse and have the opportunity to continue to play year round. We are looking to field a high school level team in either league. Freshman thru Seniors. This is another great opportunity for the upcoming Freshman to play with and learn from the upper classmen.
